New Tampa Junior Womens Club
NTJWC's Community volunteer work is focused in seven areas: Arts, Conservation, Education, Home Life, International Affairs, Public Affairs, and One Voice. Club members select an annual placement in one of these seven areas or in an administrative committee. However, members are not limited by their placement. They may select the projects and areas in which they would like to work, often volunteering in several areas over the course of the year. A brief description of these focus areas is as follows:

 

Arts

The objective of the Art Department is to encourage members to foster and support various art activities throughout the community. This can include local theatre groups, art and film festivals and youth art.

Conservation

The Conservation Department works to educate members about beautifying our community, preserving its natural resources and encouraging our citizens to take action and make appropriate changes.

The mission of the Education Department is to promote lifelong learning, raise awareness of low literacy among many adults and youth; and to foster and support educational opportunities in our community.
