Greetings!

Thank you for visiting our website to learn about what we are doing in the community and beyond.  What an exciting year we have planned at the GFWC New Tampa Junior Woman’s Club (NTJWC).  I am so proud to be involved with such a worthwhile organization that gives us an opportunity to give selflessly of ourselves and be a good role model for our children and community.

Every year the members of the NTJWC give of both our time and of our own resources to many organizations around the community as well as around the world.  This year we are working on projects that have become the traditions of our club that many of our members look forward to every year and some new ones that I believe will become the traditions of the future.

“Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart.”

~Elizabeth Andrew

Each year we host an annual fundraiser, the Night of 5000 Charity Gala. Thank you to everyone that committed time, sponsorships and in-kind donations to assist in bringing to life a first class event in 2009!  Because of the generosity of so many, we find ourselves in a very fortunate position this year.  This year we are going to able to meet the needs of so many worthy recipients in projects ranging from One Voice for Children to Art due to the success of the Night of 5000.  We hope you will join us for the 13th Annual Night of 5000 for another amazing evening!  This year’s primary Beneficiary is Camp Hopetake, a project of Tampa Firefighters and Tampa General Hospital’s Burn Unit.  Come and support a great cause as well as other fine charities!

2009 has brought heartache and stressful situations for so many of us, our family and friends.  By remembering our blessings each day and helping those less fortunate than ourselves, great things will happen.  We hope you will join us in these efforts either by becoming a member or an event sponsor!

When you choose to see beyond life’s storms

A new perspective you will gain.

You will only find your rainbow

after you  . . .

Welcome the Rain!

All the Best,
